Yeah, super materialistic, that's why the Quran and Hadith is literally filled with sayings about giving to the poor. And that's why muslims are against usury and in favor of modest clothing and acting modest. You are so full of shit man, you haven't even responded to my point to you in that other thread because you know you're full of shit.

He himself was poor and an orphan, so it makes sense that he gives extra emphasis to these people in the Quran.

What does usury have to do with spirituality?

As for modest clothing, this was all pre-Islamic. He didn’t invent the hijab, he simply adopted it from his society. By the way, the hijab is not spiritual.

As for acting modestly, it really just is sexual allergy. Nothing spiritual to it.

He was spiritual in the sense that he was channelling Gabriel (just like Neale Donald Walsch channels God). But to claim that he knew anything about enlightenment or awakening is just deceiving yourself. He had nothing to do with the spirituality of Buddhism.

"Not believing your own thoughts, you’re free from the primal desire: the thought that reality should be different than it is. You realise the wordless, the unthinkable. You understand that any mystery is only what you yourself have created. In fact, there’s no mystery. Everything is as clear as day. It’s simple, because there really isn’t anything. There’s only the story appearing now. And not even that.” — Byron Katie

Every. single. time. the Muhammad hater exposes himself as a Buddhist shill. How can you honestly think Muhammad could have survived in a literal tribal desert land with wars all over the place, every tribe/city following a different god, etc. Don't you realise that his revelations were about oneness? his disdain for polytheism is because it obscures the fact that all people, animals, things come from ONE SOURCE. And he poetically put names and qualities of GOD into people's hearts. The Absolute, The Merciful, The Only. These are metaphysical truths not present in Buddhism. Muhammad was literally invited by Medina to be their warlord otherwise he would be killed by Meccans or left to die. Islam was always centered around the heart, this combined by the absolute monotheism is actually closer to the truth of Love=Solipsism=One than buddha ever came. Yes, Buddha was genius in devising a personal executable plan to transcend ego consciousness. And of course Void/Emptyness is another name of God.

But you have to fucking humble yourself. You act like you think that there can be enlightened people from all corners of the world, while simultaneously coming up with this crappy critique of Muhammad who was literally a head of state, not a wandering ascetic. Hint: if you're gonna unite a continent under the idea of ONENESS and a new religion, you're gonna have to break a few eggs. In typical Buddhist fashion, you act like you are very universalist, but it's actually very apparent from your reasoning that you think that Buddha was a good enlightened being and Muhammad was just a evil warlord, and thus put yourself and your worldview on a pedestal. You better break free from your semi-new age buddhist belief system and actually critisise people and things in their proper context.  Let me make it absolutely fucking clear to you; There are no enlightened beings just as there are no prophets.

At least a traditionalist muslim just says that he thinks other beliefs are wrong. at least he's clear about his beliefs. You're a sneaky zen devil who subtly disguises his dogmatic belief system as universalism, enlightenment and moral and intellectual good.

The argument makes sense for that user. The Buddha is better in comparison because he spent 40 years meditating under a tree, going around spiritual circles to debate with other spiritual teachers, and ended up making a Sanga despite all the odds and passed doctrines that at the time ended up being useful in a spiritual context. Meanwhile, Mu-ham-mad going around the middle eastern region, forcefully converting the other polytheistic tribes, even the native Christians in those regions to convert to Islam, while having polyamorous relations with multiple wives, of all ages. Obviously the user making that comparison makes the Buddha a super saint, comparing a strong stage blue/orange/green Buddha to the stage purple/red/blue Mu-ham-mad.
