Low quality versus high quality and why do men do this?

People like Andrew Tate often describe how they always want a high quality high value woman and when they meet a high value woman, they dismiss her and or make her feel bad by being condescending and acting superior, yet when you look at the dating history of such men, you will find him dating really low value low quality women who will cheat on him or are extremely shallow golddigger types. 

Curious about why this is the case? 

What explains this anomaly?

This is not an anomaly. People want everything high quality. Partner, House, Car, Friendships, Ice cream, Life, PC etc.

Then they'll make bad decisions and end up with something else entirely.

High and low is subjective its all what works for me,someone high could be low for someone else so its pointless to debate. Its like also depending on what is scare and whats in abundance if someone notion of high quality could come in abundance then that thing would become low value automatically....

I'm talking about guys who don't perceive a woman as high value and is still dating them. He(not Tate, Tate is just given as a random example) even says that these girls aren't high value to him. But he still sleeps with them? I find the behavior a bit strange and it seems insecurity could be at the root of it.

@Tyler Robinson yes. When I was younger I would try to sleep with anyone. I didn’t give a shit I just wanted pussy. And I was a complete idiot lol. Idk why girls would sleep with me in hindsight like I guess I was kinda cool and fun but… totally psycho idk, they made bad choices- young girls sleep with guys like they’re smoking cigarettes: pretending they are guilty, pretending they can’t stop, continuing to destroy themselves

His idea of 'high-quality' is in terms of measurements. It's something 'measurable' or 'quantifiable'. 9/10 face, 36/24/36 body-proportions, 5'10 and above height, white skin, blonde hair, a certain size of boobs/ass, etc.
