Stage Yellow/Turquoise Communities/Companies

Outside of tiny social pockets and communes, are there any communities or locations in the US that feel Tier 2?  Or is the Seattle/Boulder/Austin type of Green about as conscious as it gets at any scale in the US?

Also, does anyone have experience with companies that feel truly Yellow+?  I suffer from a strong value mismatch at Green companies, I have found

Since the population of tier 2 individuals is so small, usually they end up starting their own business/ practice. 

 

Mainstream media and education does not compute all of what tier 2 has to offer. Neither do the university systems.

 

It would be very rare to see a company full of tier 2 people. Usually if you find a turquoise individual working for a company for instance, it will be a stage green company where they don't fully fit in but can still help raise people's consciousness through that medium.

I have yet to see a large company where EVERYONE is yellow or turquoise. That would be a sight to behold in the 21st century for sure.

That is what I’ve found.

There are no Tier 2 cities. Best you can do is basically Green / Orange. Cities like New York, LA, San Fran, Seattle, Portland, Denver, Austin, Salt Lake City, etc.

Not that I’ve personally been apart of though. I’m sure you could find smaller companies or startups with a significant percentage of Yellow+.

The larger the sample size of people, the more it’s going to begin skewing Green / Orange / Blue. Those are the three predominate colors in the US.

There are definitely some Yellow/Teal people in Seattle/Boulder/Austin, etc (many are my friends!) but the vast majority of the "conscious community" scenes in these cities are strongly Green.
