Inter-Connected-Ness, Mega-Thread

INTER-CONNECTED-NESS: 
The state of having different parts or things connected or related to each other.

Interconnection between differences is intelligence itself.  The more interconnected the system, the more intelligent the system.

Therefore I would like to create a thread of examples of things which have a large amount over interconnectedness. 

FOR EXAMPLE: 

How companies function with a lot of employees working together. 

How different plants interact in the forest.

How different circuits in a computer communicate. 

How different human languages relate to each other in their similarities and differences. 

How the different parts of the human organism function by communicating with each other.
