Heart Centered Solipsism

9 posts in this topic

I know intellectually that reality is just whatever I am experiencing, and that there isn't anything outside of that.

However, whenever I find something cool, I feel like I want to share it with someone else.

It seems that I can see things more clearly and I will pay attention to a thing more if I share it with others.

How do I communicate solipsism to my heart when my mind gets it?

So that I can feel satisfied with my own experience instead of dreaming up someone else who is also viewing stuff.

I want to be free to enjoy something while alone just as I enjoy something while sharing it

This seems to be why most of us are not ready to embody solipsism; we get it in intellectually but our hearts resist it.

It is all connected to one's degree of understanding of what Infinity is. There's common human mind understanding of solipsism which is directly related to comprehending Infinity. And there is a view from so-called Absolute perspective... Both: Infinty and Absolute are very mysterious words that point towards even greater mystery. I'll try to prepare more claryfied, personal view on this subject, because it seems extremely crucial for me. Yet it's extremely elusive.

This is a misapplication/misunderstanding of Solipsism.

You don't embody Solipsism by becoming even more selfish than you actually are. You are missing the actual important part about Solipsism which is Love. What do you think reality is all about? Love. And sharing is an integral part of Love. Your Love is supposed to grow instead of diminish with actual realizations, it shouldn't matter to you if other people are really not real, because when you actually understand Solipsism you also understand that reality is just Love and at that point your Love is so great you don't care if it's real or not.

This is why intellectual Solipsism and actual Solipsism are different, the actual one is filled to the brim with Love.

Also, you are only diminishing your own experience even from a selfish perspective because you will lose a valuable part of your own experience which is that of interactivity and feedback from imaginary others by trying to practice something like this. Don't try to go against your feelings. What's next, you will refuse to ever Love another person because you know they are not real? Don't you see you are the one losing something here?

And even then you are still functioning in an Absolute Self-Deception, by which I mean that you are not fully one and alone from your day-to-day perspective, so to try to act as if others do not exist at all while you are also imagining that other people do exist will only backfire on you, because as a human you are not supposed completely whole. As God you are whole and all alone, but your form is not designed to function in this kind of way. You're just ignoring the other side of yourself.

You need an actual awakening, not an intellectual belief in Solipsism. Notice that you don't actually know for sure if Solipsism is true if you just believe it.

@amanen My problem is not that I enjoy sharing things with others, I'm fine with that.

My problem is that I do not feel free to enjoy a thing as much when I do not share it with others.

I want to feel good while enjoying something on my own just as I feel good sharing something.

I just want more freedom to enjoy things in more ways, I don't see how its self deception in that way.

Oh alright, the original post didn't make that too clear or I didn't understand properly, it was a misunderstanding then, my bad.

I don't know how to approach a problem like this, I've never personally had a problem with enjoying something on my own.

Solipsism killed my love for others completely. I cannot love shadows that are only hurting me in actuality. All the shadows are god pretending to be humans. I want all the pretending to stop and to be saved. Who took away my love for others, I don't control my feelings. I feel completely detached from reality. God took away my love of others, only god can do that.

Why? Only to make me suffer. I feel completely hopeless and helpless.

It could have been an amazing thing if suddenly people woke up when I became aware of solipsism. I can no longer love people as they are, their faults are magnified to infinity with the realization that they are illusory. I want to love but god doesn't allow me to love. I am god's puppet after all and look what he's doing with its puppet. Giving him only misery and suffering. God's love is all talk, only communicated through others who aren't even real. Where is god's love for me, for taking care of me and allowing me to love the world selflessly. Nowhere to be seen. This is one of the many reasons why I say god is cruel and doesn't care about anything.

God revealed my destiny to me. You know what it is. VSED (voluntarily stop eating and drinking) when my parents die.

How can you say that others only hurt you when others are the only reason you can imagine yourself as a separate entity? The duality between you and other is what makes you exist.

That's like saying the only thing ur parents did for you was hurt you when they are the reason you exist in the first place so they didn't only hurt you they also gave you life.

Also what do you mean when you say they are only shadows? aren't they also lights guiding you higher? even if u don't like others I would think that you would be able to think of some instance in which someone helped you in some way.

I don't want to exist nor do I want any dualities. I didn't ask to be born. I just want to be a void forever sleeping.

@Holykael Yea I feel like that sometimes too. but if u can conceive of this sleeping void then is it really a void? or is it simply a sensation which resembles a void but is actually just a deep state of relaxation?
