How to trust?

Especially on this forum and just in general it has become increasingly difficult to trust a source of information.

I am conscious of this information being brought to me from essentially a magicians hat of seeming randomness. My current state feels like a lucid dream all the time and im aware no one is behind the words or answers ill get. Asking this question even feels pointless but im not certain on that.

 At times it feels im on the right track but then my mind thinks "your more than likely in a multiverse of possibilities... you will just experiene every possibility"

Is it even possible to know something is correct or im on the right track to something in life. I wonder if the universe is truly guiding me to things or this is delusion and I will pass through every outcome.
