I Can’t Fall Asleep While Meditative

Lately I’ve been meditating a lot and so my mind has been in a more meditative state while falling asleep. 

I find that I need to watch some mindless Social media crap in order to exit the meditative state so I can let go enough to fall asleep.

How do I fall asleep without exiting the meditative state?

Yogis would often meditate, waking up in the middle of the night, to be at peace.
Meditation is relaxing and blissful. If I am feeling meditative I feel a call to inner peace.
A soothing song plays from within. This song is You.
It's your true Self coming through.

Be yourself, and you will heal. Yogis need little sleep,  because meditation is healing,
Sometimes moreso, than poor quality sleep.

Wake up!
Do you really need sleep?
Or are you just imagining you do?

It’s a common problem I think the recommendation was to focus on the softness of the sheets, muscle relaxing, Good sensations in the body, happy mindset of no worries or expectations to sleep and the comfyness of the mattress.

There are 2 sides in meditation. The strong laser focus to one thing or gentle allowing relaxation awarness. It seems that you have been doing that first one lately and there's no problems in that, but if you want to go to sleep you could do more zen meditation (the other one). When you relax more than your laser focus is able to hold you start to become sleepy. The question is not solely spiritual though and that's why I would just say that you should use more of your energy during day so you can't nothing, but to go sleep, becuase you're so sleepy. Also if you aren't sleepy don't go sleep and just do less than 8 hours and next night you shouldn't have problem falling sleep.
