can't stand it personally. lol

I can't stand papaya when I was young too. But the taste gets better overtime.

It has an acquired taste (different taste) after a while. Same as durians (most people can't stand durians the first time they eat them)

Pomegranates are great, but not in my top 5. I did think about them while writing my list though. Maybe they can be an honorable mention. They're like sour candies, but fruit.

You just brought out a memory from my subconscious, I remember seeing them at the store and thinking "wtf is this", but I never got to trying them.

How do they taste compared to normal kiwi?

Have only had it a few times. Not enough to develop a love affair with it ?

I had the exact same reaction, and I bought them and was not impressed ? They're mushy and lack the sour touch.

Yes! Forget them on my list, may have nothing to do with me constantly spitting out the seeds. Also, cucumbers and sweet potatoe.

I am happy to see so many tomatoes here.

I literally eat them by themselves like an apple often, and often people are weirded out that tomatoes are in the top for me.

I need to watchout for potassium though, I love potatoes, tomatoes and banana and all three seem to have a lot of potassium.

I recently learned to appreciate cilantro which used to make me wanna throw up.

I think I would describe the taste like old lab grown blueberries, 6/10 rating. But they look very cool, they have that kiwi flair going on on the inside.

I like them. Wouldn't say they're in my top 5, but it's close. I like pretty much all fruits about the same. Except mangoes, which to me, when fresh, taste better than basically any food I've ever tasted.

Some can be problematic for people though, health and allergen wise. I think the most common offenders, off the top of my head are:

Peaches

Bananas

Mangoes

Anything with seeds that can't be removed or bred-out (strawberries, idk about any others) (edit: oh yeah I guess kiwi, which I actually forgot to put in my top 5; they're probably my second favorite after mangoes)
