"The lower self always wins" is a belief.

Unconscious reactions, behaviors & and so on have got a momentum to them, but that is not to say these tendencies of  ego consciousness, can't be transcended or transformed with enough work.

From what you are saying my friend, you sound like you are having some difficulties, that's fine, how much work have you done?

How aware are you being in your daily life?

Don't expect everything to be transformed so quickly, this work is something one does for the rest of there life, if they are serious.

@Leo Gura oh gosh leo this is a fuckin tada moment I don't remember if I read this in the past but shit man...

I have been playing the am always guaranteed to loose game now in the past few months I have been winning but this game is coming up pretty often.. 

Can you give me a technique or an affirmation to counter this game ?

I will try to use awareness too but some technique would be very helpful..
