I Never Stop Humming

8 posts in this topic

I seem to be constantly soothing and sorta hypnotizing myself by constantly humming and whistling, its been going on for about 4 months.

I also sway side to side a lot unconsciously. Does anyone else do this? if so why do you think it happens without you consciously doing these things?

I feel like it's a substitute for incessant thinking, when I'm humming I'm not thinking.

Maybe ocd or anxiety disorder.

What other symptoms do you suffer from?

Be careful being too demanding in relationships. Relate to the person at the level they are at, not where you need them to be.

@Tyler Robinson Nothing else, I just hum and whistle a lot lol, whenever I'm not doing those things I'm always thinking very intensely about philosophical stuffs, so maybe it's like a calm down period to relieve the stress of thinking so intensely, idk.

You're dealing with existential crisis. Don't worry it will go away on its own. Happens when you're trying hard to figure out things around you.

@Julian gabriel go to the Core of it. Any unconscious movement, originating anywhere but Clearly and Consciously from your Being - is a prison.

Follow it like bread-crumbs, through the feeling system, to its very Core - to where it's Originating. Once there, See what's causing it and Liberate yourself.

I was humming constantly when I was a child. I was very happy and could often humm myself to a good place. I am pretty sad that I lost that ability. But I was also a big dreamer and because I often couldn’t face "real“ problems head on because I was unaware of my surroundings I also had a lot to compensate.

If it seems to help or make you more comfortable, that’s pretty much all that matters.

Hum and whistle away

What did the stage orange scientist call the stage blue fundamentalist for claiming YHWH intentionally caused Noah’s great flood?

Delugional.
