Doesn't movies objectify men and draw exaggerated unrealistic expectations of how strong men should be? Do you have no ethical issues with action movies?

Notice....what is ethical and what is not?

Well, first let’s understand what’s Ethics.

“Ethics are set of moral principles that govern a person's behavior or the conducting of an activity.”  do you agree with this definition,?

It’s not necessary that you need to have high morals ike Mahatma Gandhi or Mother Teresa. But, It is often observed that, following ethics benefits larger audience including yourself.

Let’s take an example, You are walking by a road and find some garbage. Although you are not required by law to clean the road if you find garbage and nobody can sue for that. However, imagine if you do a small act of picking it up and throwing it in the bin and few people watch your act at that moment. You stand at a high chance of influencing them. Imagine how our country would be, if everyone starts to take responsibility to do this simple act. Boooom… You just created a cultural norm which will impact the entire nation in the generations to come.

There are countries which have ban on watching porn and Even the GOI tried to do away with that last year with little success and there are reasons behind that. However the underlying question is , would you like yourself being watched during your private moments ? More than half of the content available on porn websites are not staged, but secretly recorded or voyeur .

So I ask you is it ethical to treat women as sexual objects just to satisfy men's interests?

my mind is gone to a better place.  I'm elevated ..going out of space . And I'm gone .

@UpperMaster Hi UP.

Start tracking what happens energetically(on a sensory level) as you think about the issue, as you masturbate, after masturbation... Be patient and compassionate with yourself. Keep brining  consciousness to the energetic patterns that are causing it.

Purifying the sexual energy is no small task, but when you do... there you discover yourself as Pure Passion.

I could make an entire course on how to appreciate sex. And it would change your whole life.

But I got better things to do.

Lol, what's more important than sex? :D ;)

@UpperMaster In the past I used to block all sites whose URLs contained porn keywords (even "xx"). But I don't do that anymore because the blocker software doesn't solve the underlying root cause. Yes, it's fast-acting and direct, but it's not doing the hard rewiring that is needed - you have to do it yourself and work on that daily. My suggestion is to use blocker software like "cold turkey blocker" for times when your focus is needed elsewhere. When you are relatively free, go disable it and let go of your craving only once per day (see power of letting go) and increase it incrementally over time. Or replace the routine for that cue (e.g. the cue can be the impulse to let go of or avoid feeling the sexual energy) with something healthy, like making a short work out or doing Pranayama.

In my experience, cultivating that sexual energy through semen retention is bound to fail when I don't circulate that energy. Doing Pranayama breathing for sexual energy is great. When the energy remains stagnant and isn't moved around and channeled in physical activities, it then triggers old impulses... there's another option, which is to remain still and unmoved by that impulsive energy.

Also notice how your mind is geared towards imagination whenever you engage with sexual energy. For me, I notice how I feed a part in me that lives on imagination & being a watcher of sexual activity. I don't have guidance for you on this, I just simply made it a meditation to focus on and do something else whenever the urge came up to go into my imagination.

@UpperMaster

I know this is going to fall on deaf ears but I'm going to say it anyway. This is what you need to do: a lot of meditation!

Perhaps you are not ready for it. Perhaps you need a lot more suffering to understand it. But just remember it. That is what you need. I recommend RSD transformation if you need more details. It is a good course of trauma release and raising consciousness.

All those make-shift surface level solutions like porn filters and shit won't work. You are not a kid. Don't treat yourself as a kid. Have respect and love for yourself. Don't run away from the suffering but face it as a man.

And how do you deal with those sexual urges? Get into sexual transmutation. Busting your nut is not the only way to get rid of your libido.

Like some course specifically designed to help with this issue, like what Dr. Trish Leigh (porn brain rewire) offers, maybe combined with the possibility of talking to someone 1on1.

@Federico del pueblo Have you tried it before? I think I might need to get a course like that.

@StarStruck What if it’s not your libido that makes you addicted to masturbating but rather the psychological craving for dopamine?

I have zero libido, I haven’t experienced libido in years, yet I still masturbate.

If you chase dopamine you have to prove your subconscious brain that contemplating and watching porn doesn't reward the dopamine system.

Try this: every time you have the urge to watch porn or think about porn.. do 30 push ups!

This is an important point: even thinking or contemplating about porn should be a trigger for you to do 30 push ups.

This way you train yourself as pavlov's dog to stop watching porn. After a week your subconscious brain will stop grasping to porn for dopamine.

This is simple but it works. It really comes down to your determination to stop porn.

@StarStruck Technically it does though, just in an unhealthy way, right?

This is a great idea, but is there any good alternative to push ups? I can’t do that many. Maybe jumping jacks? I don’t know.
