This does happen. Some people have very high tolerances or just not much happens.

Ralston is an unusual guy so you shouldn't expect this brain chemistry to be normal. He's basically a freak of nature. This can have its pros and cons. He has certain strengths and weaknesses, as we all do.

What makes Ralston a freak of nature? I don't know anything about him.

People on this forum do a shit-ton of logical fallacies, even in this thread there's a lot of them.

I know, I know, logic is not the proper way to truth, etc. What I am saying is, before transcending it one should try to somewhat master it, because otherwise this transcendence is more like a regression. I think that's in part why Leo has released episodes about self-deception yeeaars ago and only dives into God stuff now. That's the proper order of mastering life.

Girzo correct me if I'm wrong but are you saying that logic is important to master before you drop it to pursue truth?

@Razard86 Basically, yes. Some degree of mastery of logic is needed, otherwise you'll end up as a woo-woo unhinged hippie.

It's also important not to go too far the other way around, or you will end up as a smart-ass with your stick up your ass way too far. But as you can often see, one doesn't necessarily has to be logical to be a dense person.

@UnbornTao You have spent a few posts to appeal to my feelings, which are different than you imagine, and completely avoided making any kind of argument.

You can say something substantial about examples I have given in my earlier or construct some argument why you are against psychedelics as a tool to explore consciousness. Otherwise I am not really interested in talking to you. You know, I have 4 other walls to talk to in my room.
