The people I know that take psychedelics are the least spiritual people I know :/

I took LSD with my buddy's once and they started to cook and smoke weed halfway through the trip xD Really makes you wonder sometimes.

Bro! I swear, first time on LSD at my place, one of my buddies asked if he could make porridge. PORRIDGE! xD

?

And then one of my other buddies went digging in the freezer, and he found a frozen raspberry which he wanted me to taste, and when it touched my tongue, it felt like somebody fired a gun in my mouth xD Just the most violent taste experience I've ever had.

Dudeeeeeeeeeee,  you just completely broke me. And I have been assuming for so long that psychedelics is all I needed for a breakthrough. I'm just 2 weeks shy from my first lsd trip.

Oh God... What are you saying.

I took LSD in mars and it gave me the biggest breakthrough ever. Follow your intuition - Trust in yourself. You go girl

Those are the kind of trips I wish I had had more of. Nowadays none of this is possible anymore :S

I can relate. One time while doing shrooms the G-f (who was not partaking) decided to get ice from the frige door. The mechanical/grinding sound was bad enough but then a few cubes overshot her glass shattering on the floor. The sound still rings today.

If a tree falls in the forest and.....oh forget it!!! It is still ringing? Cut your ears off man!!!

You are a selfless LACK OF APPEARANCE, that CONSTRUCTS AN APPEARANCE. But that appearance can disappear and reappear and we call that change, we call it time, we call it space, we call it distance, we call distinctness, we call it other. But notice...this appearance, is a SELF. A SELF IS A CONSTRUCTION!!!

So if you want to know the TRUTH OF THE CONSTRUCTION. Just deconstruct the construction!!!! No point in playing these mind games!!! No point in creating needless complexity!!! The truth of what you are is a BLANK!!!! A selfless awareness....then that means there is NO OTHER, and everything you have ever perceived was JUST AN APPEARANCE, A MIRAGE, AN ILLUSION, IMAGINARY.

Everything that appears....appears out of a lack of appearance/void/no-thing, non-sense (can't be sensed because there is nothing to sense). That is what you are, and what arises...is made of that. So nonexistence, arises/creates existence. And thus everything is solved.

So according to the poll I posted, even on a spirituality forum, only half of people who have taken psychedelics are meditating daily (without specifying technique and time spent).

I wouldn't consider spirituality truly going mainstream unless most people have at least a daily meditation practice (or at least if you want it to be able to save the world). So unless everybody in the world tries psychedelics and are exposed to the information equivalent to Actualized.org, it doesn't look very promising.

If you disagree with my criteria (daily meditation), what would you pick? For example, I don't think most of people talking about spirituality is a good criteria, because talk is not walk. Infrequent meditation is also not very likely to produce much results either.
