Should I activate my 3rd eye to strengthen willpower? Osho says this.

I’m not trying to open my 3rd eye just activate it. Osho says that’s where determination and willpower come from. I’m trying to strengthen my willpower and determination but not trying to open my 3rd eye. If it eventually happens naturally ok but I don’t want to force it. He says when meditating to focus on 3rd eye. Also to strengthen will and determination to basically push yourself to do something even when you don’t feel like it. What do you think?

According to the yogic tradition, the sit of will power is the solar plexus, not the "3rd eye" which corresponds with perception, intuition, thought. 

So you can try whatever Osho suggest and see if the works for you. My suggestion is to find the mental activity (beliefs/thoughts/memories) that disrupts your willpower, and let go of it. IMO, this is more direct than trying to find it through the body. 

So how about asking your self, what diminishes your willpower and what inhibits you from realizing it?

Be careful with third eye and kundalini. It will act as a force present in your life which is itself Absolute Truth. It can FUCK you up physically.

It only messes you up if you have a lot of fear/trauma. The more you raise that energy the more purified of fear you need to be.

@playdoh  Skipping straight to the Indigo center without working first at least upon the Red ray located between the genitalia and anal outlet in my experience is unsustainable. And quite frankly, you probably shouldn't even try unless you're well established in the three lower centers first. I know I sound an awful lot like Sadhguru here, of whom I was originally skeptical. But I've been experimenting with this what they call chakra activation the past 2 years and what he's said about the Muladhara is true.
