Datura.. Can you use it without Brain damage? Is it for anything spiritual useful? 

No one recommends it really. I just ask me because datura grows in my garden. 

I dont plan to take datura, just play mind games. And I am curious

Back in europe, witches mixed datura with other substances like Opium and so on. There must be some usage

@OBEler Don't even think about it. Datura produce "real" hallucinations accompanied with amanesia, so that you forget that you even took datura. This is not acid you are dealing with. It is dangerous even with a trip sitter.

Read this. Basically, it has spiritual use if you're an indigenous tribe with extensive experience in safe preparation and consumption.

I've seen it grow wild in some parts. It's really a beautiful plant. It got this aura to it. Same with opium poppies and peyote. Something about them makes you know they have these sick mystical powers.

@OBEler Anti-choleringic deliriants are highly damaging to the body.  Datura specifically has been known to drive people into psychosis that can last for months or even years after taking it.

Apparently, the Chumash would take Datura after a 3-4 week fast and that would make the drug safer as there would be no more acetylcholine in the body for it to compete with, but still not recommended
