Question about power of not knowing

6 posts in this topic

Not knowing gets you to first order truth, not second order right? I understand the first order. I’m confused about second order: is second order just language or can second order also be truth without language(or symbolism)?

Also Leo says we should merge epistemology and metaphysics in his "what is truth video". What does he mean with that?

@Leo isn’t first order (absolute) truth sameness and second order (relative) truth separateness?

Not-knowing is also helpful with gaining 2nd order relative truths because your mind is open to fresh insight and new perspectives.

States of direct consciousness or nondual states are the merger of metaphysics and epistemology, where you know a thing by being it, not thinking about it.

Consider thinking about a fork vs becoming a fork. That's the difference.

Not quite.

So first order is basically when subject and object collapses aka the quantum field?

1st order is your direct experience.

There is no quantum field. There is just your present experience and absolutely nothing else.
