Good stuff.

But I think he may be biased a bit.  Greater awareness doesn't necessarily means greater awareness of others' suffering.  Awareness can go in any direction, and it doesn't have to be other people's emotions.  You can tell suffering people to fuck off, and that's not gonna be any less enlightened of a reaction.

Yes. That's why he said you can chose to feed the hungry or to wake up from the dream. The hunger will go away, either way is fine.
