Modalert vs Modvigil

Modafinil counts as a psychedelic... right? 

I've always taken only modalert until recently when I got modvigil instead (hard to successfully complain in these situations lol). So if any of you were wondering which one is the better generic here's my experience:

- Dosage: Modalert is stronger. 3/4 of a tab is generally optimal in the morning for me. Equivalent to 1 full modvigil.

- Half life: Modalert lasts longer into the night. Thus modvigil is likely healthier as it allows better sleep (idk why the same chemical would have a different half life)

- Quality of consciousness: Very little difference. Modalert is marginally better for meditation. 

- Cost: Modvigil is slightly cheaper.

- Overall: Both are legit. I prefer modvigil since my day is ruined if I get under 8 hours of sleep, which happens more often on modalert.
