Perception And Emotion

With emotion as a background process (like a computer), effortlessly coexist with it... neither resisting nor bothering much with it (or else you'll stimulate). Be WITH emotion YET reasoning (exercising the intellect/thought).

Given a circumstance... one must have a plan before they can assess it. Thus research is necessary (remembrance is a form of research). The problem of fear has to do with it's fuel: cares and values. Care and what one values is self-imposed... the manner of terminating that "connection" is a surgically applied indifference. Indifference, surgically applied, can allows for a freer mind (much like cancelling a couple windows on a computer and having a faster computer) so that you ca focus clearer... and research (remembrance) during development of a plan whereby the circumstance can be assessed. The manner of being efficient is to exclude inessential psychological processes... the path of least suffering is far besides fear. 

Fear is like a suffering before that of the danger it conscerns. If you die exercising the intellect (pondering) towards a plan... it will have been better to suffer merely the danger of death, and having been planning, than both the suffering from fear and death. By being efficient, one can exclude fear, if one cannot focus: indifference can create a window for reasoning and it can terminate fear (because one cares less yet all the more can exercise the intellect).

That method of surgically applied indifference is manipulation of perception. Another example is how one LEARNS to be content with a jail-cell. A third world country adult (born in prison, living in a prison, and who hasn't once left) may lack a certain degree of suffering possessed by an american. The idea is that what one values... yes! One's care's, they are self-imposed. Indifference can terminate the cares which are fuel for fear... then one can better focus on a plan (which is requires before assessing any circumstance unless they hope to inadvertently prosper) ... a plan which can actually preserve what someone cares for. Thus one stopped caring in order to complete the process which would preserve what they care for. Therefore... one can use reasoning (such as understanding shortcuts, and whether or not something is beneficial) to determine perception (such as considering a jail-cell as it essentially is: a room) which can affect emotions. An example of that is learning (which is is intellectual) to be content (which is emotional) with a jail-cell.

Now... you can actually determine your mind based on your emotions. But the problem is that most emotions are more physical than psychological (it has to do with the five senses). Thus if your body hurts your mind may be in as bad a condition. Basically the mind says: bodily pain is amphibiously stress (look up amphiboly if you don't know).

But you can also determine your emotions based on your intellect. Basically, the aforementioned. Because you hold reasoning dominant while emotion is background process (like with a computer). With this method (WITH emotion YET exercising the intellect, emotion as a background process) the mind learns more about which emotions are truly suitable for a situation (because you exercise reasoning).

Of course... it's up to you to continue reasoning. You could be a genius by the time your 23 1/2 years old if you do this non-stop. I reccomend beginning with exercising this while in bed and working your way to perfection slowly but thoroughly (because moving is going to involve more action and more psychological activity... better to catch it in it's early stages).
