Reading David Hume: don't understand a thing, but I like the man

I don't understand what the hell the guy is saying. But it feels like he's trying to explain everything that I've been searching for in terms of learning. The problem is how am I supposed to understand this man? Maybe I should read the text even more carefully or there are other resources I'm not aware of that I should have read before reading Hume.

You could cite some of his texts or ideas here, and you may get some help to break it down. It also gives a better clue to what you may need to focus more on to get a better understanding.

Hume is one of the easy philosophers to understand. It only gets harder from there.
