Posted June 22, 2022 When we finally collapse back into a singularity of existence, do you suppose the next "creation" will be as good? It feels like we hit jackpot with sight and colors, and being born in a time with many comforts. I don't think I'd really enjoy being a caveman era type creature... This one's pretty rich unless you were unlucky and born in a shit country or time period. We're pretty much the billionaires row of this universe, with our creature comforts and technology and first world living spaces... I bet the next one is shit... Posted June 22, 2022 You'll be dead then. It's really that simple. God can't ever be dead (the real God, that is), so It'll be there.
Posted June 22, 2022 (edited) @AtheisticNonduality Yeaaaah I mean I will be dead, but there's still some motherfucker that's gonna be in what I bet is a shit creation compared... Surely first world 2022 is the Mona Lisa. Next time it'll be like Whistler's Mother in the Mr. Bean movie... Not looking forward to it. That's just our luck... Posted June 22, 2022 It can get infinitely better and infinitely worse. Today will probably look pretty shit if people are still around in 5,000 years. Yes, Everyone on the Internet Is a Loser.
Posted June 22, 2022 @Yarco I wonder if the term ought to be "infinite" or "un-finite"... Un-finite is like, anything could happen but not necessarily everything must. I've considered that particular thing a few times... There are similarly two views of time, very similar in idea. Which is either imagining a finished novel already existing as the finished product, and us merely reading through its pages... OR, a blank sheet of paper upon which changing forms appear. The blank sheet being timeless, the movement of characters on that paper creating time. When you find eternity (time) and infinity (spacial), you don't actually encounter a super long timeline, or a super big space. You instead encounter literally timelessness and sizelessness. Not short or long, or big or small. Literally just lacking those traits... And I wonder if that points more towards a sort of infinite blank paper idea.......
