Near Death Experience with 5-meo-dmt

What you described has multiple interpretations from outsiders. Get over it.

I don't know what you experienced.

My first interpretation was: "wow she probably just got scared because 5meodmt is a fucking sledge hammer and really scary"

But, then I opened up, expanded and allowed more interpretations to unfold. Like "maybe it was too much, and it was a dangerous situation. I have seen that before as well"

But, You seemed triggered. Which wasn't my intention. I feel like I can feel your energy right now.

Just breath and let go. What you thought was ego death… likely wasn’t ego death. EDIT: I was refering to your previous mushrooms experiences. They don't create Ego death like 5meodmt.

Even after many trips I have really scary experiences as well. It’s a freaky thing to realize but, when it lands properly and you accept it. It’s sort of like… well of course that exists. 

I posted this. Then I started reading posts from you saying I was trashing your thread. So, Idk where the drama started but I don't feel like it was me. 

I posted a matter of fact opinion based on my outsider interpretation and my OWN direct experience. My later posts noted your perspective, and that maybe it was indeed dangerous. But, that took some time for me to understand.

 I understand that what happened to you was very scary, and you felt threatened by it. It may have been dangerous.

I apologize for not validating your experience right away.

@puporing I understand. I can see how it was triggering in retrospect. My initial interpretation was dismissive of it being a near death experience. It very well could have been. It sounded very similar to my own direct experience when it comes on strong and is very scary and can trigger an anxiety attack because your ego is REALLY dying.

@Thought Art You're still gaslighting me about ego death. It was not my ego dying (that part I have literally zero issues with).

It was my body shutting down, my awareness shutting down, and my experience of that is valid, and then fighting for my life was valid. You can interpret it however you want but don't go around spreading it as some higher truth than my experience.

5 meo is the death of the ego. mushrooms are not. if you resist death, you will have horrible sensations. The same thing happened to me recently for having done it at a time when I couldn't let go of something with a girl. I had already made 5 meo many times, but this one I couldn't let go. I thought my heart stopped. It's horrible, all the energy in my body was concentrated in a point of tension. It's a really seriously hard experience. 

what happens with 5 meo, when you are able to let it go, is the opposite. your being explodes, a super nova. you cover everything . infinite. there is nothing more wonderful, but at the same time it is terrifying for the ego. I am still adapting my mind to not feel horror when infinity opens . infinity makes you see that you are zero. there is nothing like 5 meo

Not entirely correct. Before I entered the state of awareness shutting down/body shut down I did get a taste of the dissolution of self. It is not that different from mushrooms at least on this particular trip, that I merged with everything and am no different than the bed or table. Maybe you guys just haven't had that on mushrooms who knows.

Has anyone done MALT? Is this something that is likely to happen with 5meo malt vs 5 meo dmt?

I've had experiences of being launched out of a cannon in my sleep before and I always imagined that was what 5 meo would be like, but idk.

@puporing Did it just happen in a subtle jolt or was there a build up? 

Is it possible you weren't in physical danger but you just had an extreme psychosomatic response to the prospect of death?

You're lucky mushrooms work for you so maybe you can stick with those, but it's probably worth really understanding this trip so it doesn't influence future trips.

I fainted from a chigong exercise a few months ago, and I still have ptsd from it when I feel lightheaded or in a weird state walking.

@Raptorsin7 There was a build up but it was very fast in relative terms.

This stuff is all still experimental, so I cannot really say conclusively. I just trusted my intuition as things unfolded. I mean what's physical is also non-physical so talking about this can be challenging. If I try to describe again it was like a super condensing of energy in my head area and body, that was way too dense (like my skull was gonna crack open) that made me lose awareness (I would say up to 80% of my awareness). And I honestly can't say for sure what would've happened if I didn't try to maintain my consciousness.

I am okay now. Just did another mushroom trip to confirm some things, seems like my baseline consciousness has mostly "merged" with the "heightened" consciousness (except in subjective terms). At least that's the direction things are headed now.

@puporing Have you noticed how high consciousness is related to the sensations in the third eye and the way you see/percieve the world?

It always feels like the tensions of the pineal gland are behind all the most profound experiences on psychidelics

@Raptorsin7 Sort of, that's where the 'activations' feel like most of the times, I feel it in the back of my head too sometimes, and full body ones. In this case it was indistinguishable lawl.

better to vape the first few times. 5 meo makes you something permanent once you've had a real breakthrough. it is as if it breaks your energetic cohesion. you don't do this at first to realize that you are this or that, but to vaporize your ego. vaping is shorter time, but it vaporizes it completely. Once this has happened, you will no longer be the same. breaks something that would otherwise be unbreakable

I don't have to do anything I don't want to do so you all can stop pressuring me. I don't post all my realizations online for y'all to verify. I have shared not even close to half of my trips. So you all can stop assuming things about me. It's getting obnoxious. Clearly you're just interested in some ego game and I ain't playing that game. That you claim you have dissolved your ego is the biggest crap when you're still so interested in engaging in ego amplification.
