I don't believe that chart is correct.

Pretty sure it is. Maybe Jewish Americans are on top( as seen in other sources) which still dosen't disprove my point.

You don't need to be white straight male to become wealthy as the woke media wants you to believe because facts say otherwise.

We need progressive policies.

That won't eliminate inequality completely. Just that government might save your ass if things go south.

But again life is no fun if government does everything for you.

And plenty of people had it difficult than you and less opportunities than you who "made it".

Plus equality of opportunities won't guarantee anything. We will still have inequality if outcomes, which will further fuel inequality of opportunities like a cycle.

What kind of support structure are you hoping for?

How about the basics like affordable housing, education, and health care for starters?

Like an actual Universal Health Care system, rather the predatory for-profit system we have which puts people with medical emergencies tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars in to debt.

Or access to affordable mental health care services, rather than being out of luck if you're a poor or working class person with a mental illness. Any idea what trying to treat something like schizophrenia is like for a working class person in America with access to close to ZERO social support structures? I didn't think so.

Or how about labor protections which ensure that employers have to pay their employees a living wage, so that someone working 40 hours a week isn't one or two missed paychecks away from destitution?

Hell, how about a less grossly unequal public education system rather than a patchwork of schools that vary dramatically in quality because they're funded by local property taxes.

Or support for working families in the form of paid paternity leave, and affordable child care?

Willful ignorance doesn't change the lived experience of how America has been consistently failing a large proportion of its citizens for a long time.

You can easily delude yourself with any media narrative as you wish.

White christian Americans are not even the most privileged group in the US.

I think we all see what we want to see and listen to what we want to hear.

Far right MAGA Republicans having a bias towards the white straight Christian male identity is not a media narrative. Lol. Its quite overtly in some of their rhetoric. One of their main and perhaps legitimate gripes is the perception that the white straight Christian male is becoming less privileged and less influential with time, given the increasing diversification of America.

Yes, there are non-white communities that are doing quite well economically but that won't insulate them from an authoritarian regime that is rooted in maintaining white straight Christian male dominance. Furthermore, their economic prowess doesn't necessarily translate into political power.

Some whites have a self bias. I am not surprised. This is true in every democracy.

Anyone that had talent and hardwork can still "make it" ,with a pinch of luck of course without having to face these imaginary political barriers.

People across the world has far more issues to deal with in terms of upward mobility.

There are also people who are depressed because "climate change" is going to kill their opportunities in future. If you believe it, it will become true to you. Same with the narrative that you need to be born a specific colour to get upward mobility else you are fucked.

For young talented people it's more worthwhile to spend your energy on personal success rather tha  whining about social justice, which is filled with tons of fallacies and mistakes of their own, which they never admit.
