They're not, a few Sufis like Al-Halaj and Ibn Arabi lost the plot but otherwise there is a clear separation between creator and creation in Islam.

I'm Arab ex Muslim, what do you want to ask? 

My opinion is that Islam like all religions has the kernel of truth in it, and God is described well in the Quran but there's so much baggage with Islam that it's probably not the best spiritual practice to embody non dualism if that's what you're going for.
