Where Do You Guys Think The World Is Within 100 Years?

I would really like to hear everyones opinion about this and are curious how different people from the world view the current state of being. The world is slowly waking up which is great but it also feels the biggest task is still ahead of us. I'm still kind of sceptical where things are going if I look at global warming, religious radicalism, refugee crisis, political movements and some economic flaws (e.g. Venuzuela's hyperinflation). This is not intented to be pessimistic but more like reviewing things that possibly can be improved when thinking and working together. If there is any place where we can start an active movement to better the major problems in the world, then it would be this forum! What do you guys think? What are the major problems you see locally, nationally, personally and globally?

I really feel like many people are not grasping the effect of Virtual Reality in the future.

VR is the one thing that I see that has the potential to effect the world as heavily as the internet did. Only because of the direct grab on people's attention and time/energy it will save people.

Will people still travel when you can just put on a headset and be anywhere you want?

What about the entertainment industry? You still going to pay for a on stage show or movie when you can transport yourself into a movie?

How will relationships between men and women be effected when there's VR porn? Kidding, but also not kidding at all.

So my point is people are massively underestimating this. And don't think it's a pipedream for 50 years in the future.

If the internet taught us anything, it should be that things are moving fast. Zuckerberg knows. It's not a mistake they bought Oculus.

My only hope is that in 100 years the world will be nuked out of existence and the shitstain that humanity is will be wiped out of the face of galaxy. But most liekly it will be an islamic world where you get beheaded and raped on a daily basis and you gotta pray to allah all the time. Rather kill myself now

Men will finally be free of real life girls and spend all the time in vr with virtual ladies, which will be infintely better than real women and have none of the negative aspects at all. That's actually sth I am looking for. That is the only hope for men imo

Artificial Intelligence will never replace real human connection imo. The more something is imperfect the greater the love one can genuinely give. Embracing imperfection is loving your self for the reality you live in. I doubt the future will be completely digital, probably the exact opposite and rejection of the virtual realm. A second renaissance, start living in the here and now and not some virtual projection.

Of course not. It will be just an upgrade to porn and sexual life and will replace the need for sex and relationships with real women. You will still have real connection and interaction with your family, friends, pets and so on

It will probably only increase being lower conciouss satisfaction since it is only about getting a short "high". If it was connected to someone you love it would have a function but now you just throw energy in a virtual void. What is there to gain except short term satisfaction?

Nothing. That's the whole point. You grab your short term satisfaction and then you move on with your business and life. You can still practice love to all beings and be enlightened and connect to people you love. This is only for sexual pleasure and a quick fun. It will cost you less energy, time and money and be much more epic than chasing real women and having sex with them. It will free you from the silly and also risky and wasteful game, and then you can have more energy, time and ressources for the important stuff in life

@Old Soul Now that  is just a perspective you have. You can see it as a struggle that you and your partner have or something you can work on and as room for improvement.

It's all perspectives Me personally I'm all for freedom and independence (yeah...not interdependence. If you have read the 7 habits of highly effective people you may now shame me) so this would come in handy for me. Fuck this ultra hot perfect virtual chick, get your release and then move on with your business and enlightenment work. I mean women can do the same, it's not all about me or men. Women could spare themselves the chase for guys. (althought that would be hard because they are so social and have a relationship nature). Sure this will be a thing of free will decision. You want it, use it, you don't want it, don't use it. I personally would jump on it instanly

@Old Soul I'm in for the end of this paradigm which will certainly not go without much hassle and hysteria. The things i dislike the most is this high tempo of work, capitalistic praising and making people insecure if they are happy with their wealth. Some should write a guide how to approach the fall haha
