How can we save the young people of the world from oppressive and corrupt systems?

I was born in Iraq, and day by day I discover more about this harsh, but fascinating place.

Modern day Iraq includes some of the earliest human civilizations on the earth, but many people mix that rich history for the country of today. In all actuality, Iraq is just another made up country. Borders drawn as a part of international convictions without consultation for the Iraqi nation. Even the first monarchy was imposed by Britain. They went and found an educated man who happened to have a family that played a role in history, and they made him king. With successive coups and invasions, it is safe to say that the current Iraqi state has little to do with the will of the people who live in Iraq.

This creates a highly corrupt environment. The economy is like a heist where money flows from top to the bottom, and everyone have to leech from that stream, while the country lacks any other industry than oil.

When it comes to Iraqi youth, there are two types. First type are those who are able to secure a position in the money chain, and those who did not. The first group is also highly corrupt one. They have loads of money, and they don't want to know where this money is coming from and how the economy run. They got their because their families have enabled them through minimum of two previous generations to study and secure positions but out of the second disadvantaged group, there are people who are smart and curious, but don't have any chance but to run and join the race, hoping that they can get some money out of that stream.

This latter group are highly disadvantaged. They live as slaves for their societies and families. They are forced to play a game that's rigged against them. They can't get a good education, but forced to run and try to get any degree, hoping that one day they would secure their positions in the money chain. And because they are not wealthy, the whole world doesn't want them. The countries of the world when they give a visa for Iraqis, they ask about how much money they have, a proof of bank and properties. The rich and corrupted group can provide that for them and for their children, but the disadvantaged group can't!

It is like an eternal sentence to be imprisoned in Iraq.

Now there are initiatives from all around the world to take in some of Iraqi youth and give them opportunity, but even that initiative, it cannot reach those who are in need, and mostly targets those who are already studying and having degrees, but for example those who are affected by wars, they can't make use of it!

The western initiatives treats the Iraqi youth the same way they treat German youth for example, not accounting for the additional factors.

Also above all that, there's the societal pressure on the youth, and family values and such, which can cripple both sexes abilities. For females, they wouldn't even allow them to join these initiatives, and for males, they are faced with different manipulation methods, pushing them to feel guilty if they don't come back to their homes and work to achieve the goals of the parents by marrying and forming a new family themselves.

So here we are now!

Imagine yourself as an Iraqi girl, born to non-rich family, lost some study years because of war, skipped college because your family can't allow you to go to college, and living in a remote area outside the city, but you have love for astronomy!

When power is out, you go out and gaze at the start! then when there's power, you get your phone and start looking on materials about stars!

When you become an adult, they would force you to bury your dream and get married..
