Vasectomy

8 posts in this topic

Hi,

I am seriously considering doing a vasectomy in the near future. Me and my fiance are sure 100% we do not wan't to have kids ever.

I was curious - have someone here on the forum done it or is planning to do? How did it go? What was the reaction of family? What are your thoughts?

Schedule a free consult with a doctor and he will answer all your questions.

Yeah I know, will do that, thanks. Just was curious whether someone on the forum did it.

I have a friend who has done it. It was pretty minor, like a 20 minute procedure with only localized freezing. Basically on the same tier of procedure as getting a wart removed or something. Just sore for a couple days after.

I'm considering it in the next few years. My wife wants me to so we don't have to use any other form of birth control. I have some concerns from a spiritual perspective and I'm pretty averse to any kind of surgery, but I'll probably end up going ahead with it.

If you're in your early 20s I would be more hesitant to do it. You might break up with your fiancé and your next partner might want kids and convince you. Although I think technically they can undo it. If you're in your late 20s or later it's less risk.

You can tell your family that neither of you want kids and that's enough details. You don't have to tell them you had a procedure done. That's getting past just inquiring about grandchildren and into discussions about your sex life.

I would not do a vasectomy. Absolutely not.

In the book Think and Grow Rich, Napolean Hill states that if you castrate someone, they lose all the fight in them. Most likely because one of their TOP biological desires cannot be actualized. If you do a vasectomy, you will probably get similar effects.

Absolutely do not get it.

If you and your fiancee don't want kids, I would probably pick up a manifesting book such as the Power of Your Subconscious Mind or another New Thought tome to program your reality so that you don't have kids.

Vasectomy does not affect your sex drive.
