Difference Between Highest Excitement And Cheap Thrills??

Bashar talks a lot about following your highest excitement, what if to an unconscious person that excitement is eating junkfood, watching tv and whatnot, are you still supposed to follow through on that?? How can you distinguish between your highest excitement and ordinary thrills, does this excitement/passion get masked over by ego?? @Leo Gura thoughts on this?
