One of the things I have noticed and am struggling to integrate

One of the things I was shown a couple of weeks ago was that our mind was infinite. I find a lot of times we like to place limitations on ourselves and claim our mind is finite. This is not true....currently right now your mind is infinite, its just the aspects of your mind that are beyond the finite are outside of your awareness. There are experiences you can have that will reveal the boundless nature of your mind. But the issue I have is, why is it so difficult to access and utilize this aspect within ourselves. Its one of the things that eludes me. Our mind is infinite yet for some reason in our normal direct experience it feels finite. 

If you go through a kundalini awakening for example the infinite nature of your mind is revealed to you. It is done rather forcefully as well, you get to see how boundless your mind really is, and I am not saying its exactly comfortable either it is kind of roughly revealed to you how much your mind can be stretched past the limits you impose on it....and how deep the rabbit hole of your mind can actually go. Its one of the most jaw-dropping, creepy, and awe-inspiring moments you will ever come across.

Think of your mind being penetrated twisted and turned upside down and inside out from every angle and vantage point imaginable. While this is happening you are constantly being shown images of various emotional expressions. Might even see some animation or scenes along with still images of both beauty and horror. It was certainly something unlike anything I ever experienced.

But yeah your mind is infinite, anyone telling you its finite is mistaken.

Because you as Infinite Mind have masterfully trapped yourself inside a finite body and mind.  You had to, otherwise it could not be real and you could not experience finitude.  Even if you will forget when you realize you are God "again".  That's the cost.

Makes sense....and I did almost fall through the floor once.....back when my awareness was high. Its crazy how powerful your mind becomes in your reality when your awareness is high. When your awareness is low your ability to perceive is ridiculously low in comparison.

you have put dams on the mind to become a survival machine. to survive you need to be integrated into the collective ego, so since you learned to speak you have been shaping yourself to become a piece that fits in a puzzle. you have (we have) fear of the unlimited because we are made to our golden cage. infinity is freedom, but it is indefinite. becoming used to it and flattening the mind to flow is the goal of spirituality imo

@Razard86 Remember that Kundalini is a feminine energy. Kundalini will show you the boundless nature of ultimate Reality because that is the feminine polarity. The masculine polarity is the one which gives form and finitude to the feminine substance. Ultimate Reality is the union of these two principles so it is simultaneously finite and infinite, in the sense that it is an Infinity which contains all finitude within itself. The Shiva Nataraja is an excellent symbol of this reality.

It is not possible to integrate the pure feminine principle of boundless freedom alone into ordinary life because by definition it is a total violation of all structure and order. This principle has to be reconciled with the masculine principle which will allow you to see all of reality as the interplay of Form and Formlessness. This vision occurs at the Ajna-Chakra and is finally unified in the ultimate Liberation characterised by the rising of Kundalini to the Sahasrara-Chakra and out of the body.
