why do girls give there number if not interested ?

Sometimes a girl will give me her number after I approach, it's not a pushy approach either just casual and I'm out after a minute. Then after when I text they give short uninterested responses or ghost. Why did they give it if not interested.

Ya, probably mostly to just get you away from them and them feeling like not comfortable saying no and not wanting the hassle, etc.. 

Happened to me a couple weekends ago.  

Nothing personal.  I get it.  Some people just aren't comfortable saying "no" to someone's face... I can imagine many people aren't actually.

• Recovery method/Backup plan when she's lonely.
• To skip threats.
• Liked you at first, but found someone hotter.
• Fake number.
• Other misc. reasons.

@patricknotstar To get you to stop talking to her. Because once you get her number, you're satisfied, and so you leave her alone lol.

It can also be that she doesn't want to tell you No (scared of your reaction, because you're literally a stranger to her), so to be polite she gives you her number.
