Deathbed

Have you ever wondered how it will be like, one day, to lie there ready and welcoming with no pretending, thinking to yourself that there is nothing more of you worthwhile to give it a minute more?

That there would be nothing to say and that it always had to be this way, that at that point, for the first time nothing about yourself would be at all significant, that whatever is ultimately significant has nothing more of you to feed on?

how much can you bend your mind? and how much do you have to do it to see straight?

Until you realize that you can't "die" and will always be here. :P

Actually, I'm excited to "die". Im completely serious. One if my main motivations in everyday life is to die, and seeing all of creation again and falling in love with myself so infinitely, that even Leo Gura has no idea how "deep" Love can go :D

The more “you” dive into a life, the more a death becomes your meditation. Thinking of it all the time, not as a means to the end, but rather a new beginning. My existential question: “ Is there a death after life?” Not life after death.
What mysteries life and death, as being one, bring/add to this never ending Being. ?

Death will Never happen, at least the way mind thinks it should happen.

@Galyna

Yeah, meditation is learning to die. When you don't need anything then you have all you ever wanted.

Who told you that "others" are real?

@puporing @Galyna Meditations have teached me that the ego is a deception, this emptiness which the ego fills up I consider to be forever, to be a necessary substance of existence.

I am not speaking about that, I am speaking about the ego to which death is only absolute when that which once were identified by means of it is no longer there.

This ego is what dies, and what is let loose and not anymore of any significance at last. Death is our representation of the experience of emptiness, what is death in your mind that makes it different to this emptiness if all that you love and care for has no more form?

It is ridiculously vague to say that one lives forever if one has both experienced this emptiness and understand that the ego is what people typically refer to when they wish to live forever.

@Reciprocality I got you, you are taking about ego-mind. My take on it: consciousness is infinite and there is no need to cry for one mind to cease bc it will create millions of minds similar to one you are experiencing right now. Even better. We are in infinity, my friend ?. Your mind itself has an infinite numbers of ramifications. You are going to experience all of the ramifications of this mind, on top, you are going to experience infinite numbers of other beautiful minds similar to your philosophical one. It is never going to end. Why worrying about one facet of this l, when you will get millions of other? Loved ones? But they are a projection of your mind? If you are an illusion, so they are as well. Consciousness will create other different variations of the experience for you to have. On the death bad of your mind, all the attachments will be irrelevant.

Nah dude I'm going out white-knuckling the metal bedrails and scared shitless and begging for just one more day. I don't think it's possible for me to ever reach that level of acceptance.

@Yarco Haha, I guess that would in some sense be the braver way to end it, to really feel into the emotions, to be scared of the unknown.

I would consider that an acceptance.

I almost died, went through the fear and found out some stuff, but it contradicts the modus operandi of this place - and I'm weary of people trying to convert my experiences into their own belief system, so I'll just say this and call it good:
