If i'm consciousness, Why do I feel suffering?

9 posts in this topic

if I'm consciousness perceiving this world, why do I feel the suffering of this 'false self'?

and I've heard the following ideas:

*when you go higher in your level of consciousness, you don't get rid of suffering, you transcend it!

*also consciousness has no qualities whatsoever!

sorry if it is a low-quality question, or already answered in a video or the forum!

This is categorically similar to asking “If I’m consciousness, then why can I see the color green?”

What did the stage orange scientist call the stage blue fundamentalist for claiming YHWH intentionally caused Noah’s great flood?

Delugional.

If you didn't create any pain for yourself, you wouldn't accept that reality is real.

Because you believe in separation.

Because you decided that what's happening to you is bad

consciousness is what you're conscious of and what you're not conscious of ... meditation is to make the latter the former

You are concious of suffering. You are concious of feeling suffering. As well as you are concious of pleasure, happines or ecstasi. What those people are trying to point is towards that unchanging conciousness which is concious of all those things and they suggest to refuge in conciousness as your true nature.

Also it is only ego or body-mind which has a problem with suffering. Conciousness loves to be concious of everything and that includes suffering, pain and death. It's more your own biological machine having a problem with suffering rather than metaphysical conciousness. Which is at the same time taking form of this room and also trascendent as it could be any other thing or no-thing, as all forms of gold but gold is different and trascendent from all it's possible forms. The problem is you are a human gold statue which does not enjoy suffering but understand how many levels go into this. Gold being in the form of a human being experiencing suffering which is also gold. Human being and suffering both ignoring they are gold and identifying with that finite form. Gold enjoying this whole game as it can express itself. Gold in itself being trascendent and different from that game smiltaneously. As a screen not getting burn or wet when ocean appears, but the screen is the ocean at the same time. But all this are words and those who unserstand what I'm pointing at don't need those words because just know it's consciousness, those who have not previously experienced won't get the full point. So just encourage you to do the hard work and realize yourself what is consciousness for yourself, be your own authority.

Why conciousness can't be concious of suffering?

Why conciousness can't be concious of being a human feeling suffering?

Just because that human doesn't like suffering then whole existencial reality will change it's laws so that it can be concious of itself in infinite forms and multiplicity but suffering, pain and death as those are unpleasent for living entities.

This is the hard-core truth but most of the time you just get caught up in the turmoil of suffering and pain and that is ok, love that also, be concious of that also

Consciousness works on a vertical spectrum, lets say 1-10...

We will distinguish this into

Lower Consciousness (urges , cravings, binging on drugs, eating junk food) at scales 1-3...

Mid-level Consciousness (doing chores, doing day-to-day general stuff) level 4-6

And Higher Consciousness (the desire to become all you can be, the side of you with dreams and ambitions, the inner feeling telling you 'I should go to the gym' and whatever else) ranges 7-10++

How can you tell which level you are in? Ask yourself "How do I feel" ... and you will have answer that corresponds to Negative/Neutral/Positive (I feel like ughhh / im alright / I feel fantastic!)

This is directly... I mean DIRECTLY, tied to your Sympathetic / Parasympathetic Nervous System (fight or flight vs rest and relax)

The key is to activate your Parasympathetic (rest and relax) 'state of being'

(Protip, *mental* effort = stress)

here is a trick you can do... while doing a chore, lets say yard mowing, you will have this voice in your head... you want to realign this voice with 'Effortlessness' so while doing yardwork, my body is getting tired, and the voice is like "oh man I wish I could hurry up and finish!!" Instead , brainwash this inner voice with a new dialogue "This is SO EASY, I could do this ALLLL DAYY"  keep repeating this EASY, ALL DAY NO PROBLEM! , while doing belly-breathing (try exhaling 2 seconds longer than normally) and you can flip this switch to Parasympathetic Nervous System and seriously , the body aches will just VANISH ...and loe-and-behold, you have transcended suffering... for a brief period (basically its Flow-State hacking)

If u got money, invest in something like the EmWave2 by Heartmath, shit is CRAZYYYY at accurate calibration readings ... (I found the 4-7-8 breathing method to give consistent results with showing higher coherence levels... its flow-state + no * mental* effort , being relaxed , and DAMN if it doesnt give an INSTANT +20% cerebral clarity of mind )

Honestly I think most people are speaking out of their ass on here.  Overly Eckhart-Tolle and not enough Biohacking
