Do you see my post?

I am very confused about other people's existence. I came to believe that I am everybody but now I don't know if other people (such as you) have their own lives or are fake/nonexistent.

So I am just wondering if you are actually alive? Are you actually reading my post? Do you have your own life?

Yes, I'm reading this and having an experience as well. I don't know man, Leo's probably just not the best with words. Or is just trying to tell us that everyone is us (or simply one) because your and my mind is the same mind since our egos and their 5 senses are imaginary. But it does leave many unanswered questions, at least for me. It does make sense though, take a "human's" ego away and there's just the experience that exists, it wouldn't be different than a rock or a chair or a grain of sand.

You’re imagining that there are “others” reading your post. You’re also imagining that there’s a “bmcnicho” responding to it.  These words I’m typing are you talking to yourself.  At the same time, I’m imagining that someone else wrote this post. Your present experience is the entire universe. After your death, the dream will end and there will be a new dream.  One of them will be the dream I’m having right now

Very much alive here. What you seem to have mixed up with that other people's existance is yours. Is that it's not that other individual minds don't exist on their own. What every other human alive is for you, is filtered from your uniqe pespective alone. But this doesn't mean that you are alone, or that your perspective is so unique that it can't be grasped in a useful way for others.

To be relatable, is to be coherent in something or other. Wheter that is an expressed idea or a feeling. If you piss some one off without being aware of it, they may slapp you in the face, despite that you didn't want to be slapped by "yourself" in that situation. And if you crack a joke, others may not find it funny, and other times they do.

Hope that eased your confusion a bit.

I think that's the problem with Leo's teaching about everybody being imaginary.

I exist by myself just as much as you exist by yourself if you and I are the same being.

Notice, how thoughts about "others" have been created.

"Others" is just a thought. No thought- no "others"! Right?

There is no such thing as "you" and there is no such thing as "other" people.

You are not a human being, you are an idea, you are a thought with perceptions and feelings. "Your" mind, full of thoughts, creates another thought which is called "other" people. What is mind?

Mind is the awareness of the current experience, call it present moment, which includes the following elements: feelings, thoughts and perceptions.

Mind is a quality of consciousness, consciousness comes prior to anything...prior to mind.

It sure can be. Some nuance to those groundbreaking thoughts could indeed be helpful.

Yes. Same sorce of consciousness in the most fundamental way.

The point was to illuminate some of the absurdity of expecting a response to be solid proof of anything in regard to this line of inquiry.

You ask an appearance which by its very design is set up to point to an experience of its own whether it has an experience of its own. When I respond outside of the design of how such an appearance is typically set up to respond, you cannot accept the answer.

Why do you consider yourself to be an appearance? Certainly your response is just an appearance but how about the source of the response?

Well, I was mainly speaking from your perspective when I said that I am an appearance. To you, that’s all I am.

Anyway, the individual commonly interpreted as “the one who is experiencing” is also just an appearance. There is nothing that can ever be experienced which is not an appearance. Source = appearance.
