Oh my gosh, I love this question!! 
I think the biggest responsibility in life is your relationships/your connection with other things. My biggest responsibility personally is healing interpersonally but also it is myself (because I have a hard time maintaining boundaries/definition with other forms). And abandoning the self is abandoning God! So I would say (1) Your Self and (2) Your relationship/connection to ALL things (plants, animals, people, objects, technology, etc.).

the question means, to what should i be responding to

stimulus arises ... do i respond?

so what things that take the time and trouble to make themselves noticed, should i give utmost attention and devotion and priority

first consider, perhaps i should list all the things i ALLOW to grab my attention ... what am i deliberately allowing into my world

this list will indicate that my responsibilities are indeed my choices and will be exactly equal to how i divide up the hours of the day

so the question is the same as, show me your schedule
