Yes, normalizing those conversations, important, but not the behaviors.

What behaviours?

Embracing your own thoughts instead of suppressing and shaming yourself over a fantasy? To me, if people do that that’s fine. People discover their sexuality… they have to live with themselves. If that helps them from harming others I think it’s okay. The problem is if people start looking for bad porn, or actually abusing others.

For far more people than society wants to admit… peoples actual sexuality doesn’t fit into a neat clean box. Most people lie to themselves and others about what turns them on.

Hurting others is obviously wrong…..

How do we avoid problems like that is in the church? Clearly suppression doesn’t work.

There’s some kind of shame strangeloop around sex in our society. I find sexuality very very interesting…. I think humans are mostly full of shit. It’s a fucking illusion.

But, it’s also real and really important to humans. Whatever creates a healthy sexuality I am pro that. But, I’m not pro demonizing or hating others.

What are genitals?

what is an orgasm?

what is pleasure?

what love?

what is fantasy?

why would a good god give humans bad thoughts?

do humans choose their sexuality?

what is self control?

what is attraction?

why can sex hurt people?

why is there sexual abuse?

Why do religions fear sex?

Can/ how can sexual abusers redeem themselves?

how much of sexuality is illusion?

why is there so much fear and shame around sexuality?

what is healthy sexuality?

How do people heal sexual trauma?

Is trauma caused both by being physically abused, as well as how society bullshits itself into morals around sex, pleasure and attraction?

How many suicides every year are related so sexuality?

how many men have a massive sexual shadow they guilt, shame and hate themselves for because of the cultural narratives we have about what types of fantasy are normal?

What resources are available for people discovering aspects of their sexuality people will demonize them for?

what is humanities ACTUAL sexual history around age, and how can that be used for conscious shadow work.

How does a conscious society work with its sexual shadow?

how often do people lie about their actual sexuality?

what is the quality of sex education that masses has received?

what would the highest level sex education be?

what is gender?

what is being gay, or straight?

why are people afraid of their sexuality?

How important is secret keeping to survival?

what % of kids today will grow up to have pedophilic/ attraction to teenagers desires when adults?

how is survival connected to sexuality? Why is this topic so taboo for people?

why are genitals ‘gross’ when other organs aren’t.

What is touch?

what is the metaphysics of sexuality?

How do humans develop from birth to adult? What makes for healthy human development?

How do we remove shame from sexuality without ‘okaying’ abuse or disgusting behaviour.

Are people evil for things they discover which they can’t control? Why is finding something pleasurable evil if done alone?

What are boundaries, what is consent? What is vulnerability?

what makes pleasure dirty?

How do we protect as many people as possible given the complicated nature of human sexuality and society?

How do we end abuse?

how do we end shame?

in terms of sexuality:

1. What is understanding?

2. What is forgiveness?

3. what is healthy?

4. What is best?

5. What is actual?

6. What is illusion, delusion and bullshit?

7. What is advanced (conscious) and what is primitive?

8. what is justice?

9. What is the highest love/ perspective on human sexuality?

Ive read that 38 million Americans have been sexually abused.

The world has work to do.

1.5 hrs in, I actually prefer listening to Mr. Girl's dry materialism over Glink's butchered explanations of spirituality. The way he phrases things is so clumsy and dull.

What Glink is grasping at is what I've articulated in Intrinsic Health (IH), but I believe he takes it too far when he says any amount of porn is bad for any person. From the IH perspective, Mr.Girl's stance of not repressing your fantasies or sexual urges is actually an important and necessary starting point, and then over time (given the right focus and techniques), you'll naturally evolve (a.k.a "burning karma") to not prefer high levels of stimulation by refining your sensitivity.

If you're repressing parts of yourself, you're denying your full potential/expression/unfoldment/development, and it's extrinsically rather than intrinsically motivated (it's focused on future outcomes – "what I want later", rather than immediate benefits – "what I want now"). Doing what you want/crave is not what is "bad". It rather depends on what is being craved, and what you crave will change as you develop, and you can only develop through affirming your cravings.

Yes, Glink's points felt like he just copied and pasted talking points made from the Nofap movement, spirituality new age movements. Maybe that's why it sounded clumsy and dull because those points were made before so many times, but it sounded, compared to how Mr. Girl speaks, more smooth and fluid. If anything, it's Mr. Girl's fractured speaking, and habit of interrupting another person's speaking to finish his statements or sentences.

I'm more surprised that Glink was ok with Mr. Girl and another panelist's rebuttal example of the hard drugs metaphor, and including psychedelics in the example. I would've pushed back in that instance because it's not accurate and productive. If I was steelmanning his argument, even if this is rhetorically risky, if he did really care for these porn addicts he should have corrected Mr. Girl by bringing up LSD and it's use in the 12 step program, if asked.

All Glink needed to say is that it's an atypical drug (meaning it doesn't work like other hedonic drugs), and that porn is arguably more similar to hedonic drugs than psychedelics. Though, I don't think he knows very much about drugs by the way he talks about them ?

It's more accurate to say I watch Destiny and Mr. Girl and those who talk to them :D I seldom watch the Majority Report and David Pakman. I no longer watch Vaush and Hasan. I feel they're too ideological.

You'd be surprised. It's basically why I started posting regularly on the forum (to purposely distract myself from spontaneous ego death). It's been 2 years and 1 month today.

I went through that phase for a bit, but I'm back to daily enlightenments for now.  I think the more time I spend in that state the more I'll learn.  I think this is how Sadhguru spends all his time.  I can jump to that state of euphoria any moment I want, but for some reason I don't.  I think I just need to strengthen that muscle.

"Follow the euphoria", is what I'd say?

How long have you meditated for and when was your first awakening experience?

Since 2012.  I haven't been meditating much lately.  I stopped about a year ago when meditation was causing crazy chakra activity.

Probably when I first took acid on June 30th, 2016.  But it was a mild awakening.  I took acid dozens of times afterwards.

First drug-less euphoria / expanded awareness experience was maybe like 3 years ago when I realized what and where I am.

So basically, spiritual practices and celibacy made you much more hornier than usual?
