Suggest to me questions to contemplate

47 posts in this topic

I'm practicing contemplating using a journal as Leo suggested in this video to derive my own answers for myself independently.

Here are the list of questions I'm currently contemplating:

What Is reality ?
How to distuingh real from illusion? Is there even a different?
How do I know I'm not dreaming right now ?
Is solipsism true?
Are others imaginary or real ?
Am I truly omniscient and omnipresent and omnipotent?

Is religion true?
Why is there something rather than nothing?
Why is reality structured this way and not some other way ?
What is happiness?
Am I the only conscious person in existence?
What are dreams ?
Did the past realy exist ?

Suggest to me more questions to contemplate .any questions you've been puzzled by .

Thanks

"When you get very serious about truth you accept your life situation exactly as it is. So much so that you aren't childishly sitting around wishing it were otherwise. If you were confined to a wheelchair you would just accept it as how reality is. Just as you now just accept that you are not a bird who can fly."

Where is this rn/your direct experience occuring?

From this you can explore further, deeper

*Consciousness is nonlocal* What does it mean?

Investigate pointers like Nowhere, formlessness, absolute, eternal, now, no beginning no end, awake

Get someone you can trust and take some lsd, trip together as you look into each other's eyes without talking

@Anahata i contemplated your question and here is my answer..

existence exists nowhere. We are in the middle of infinity .the universe stretches out infinitely in all directions.

I exist in a house..in a country..in a planet ..in a universe....what comes next? Well nowhere of course.

If all that exists is your awareness, then how can it stretch out infinitely in all directions? Isn't it an abstraction that you are making?

Where does awareness exist ?what's the context or background of this present moment that you are experiencing right now ?

Do I decide in advance which thoughts I'm going to think?

This question alone is enough.

Apparently.

Where is reality?

Am I 'doing' anything, or am I something that occurs, or both, or neither?

What would a reality 'be like' without anyone or anything for whom it 'seems like Something'?

Do I always do what I want to, or can I do 'other than I want to(what I don't want)' if I want to?

No .from observing thoughts In direct experience it is seen clearly that thoughts arise automatically without any input from "you ".

Where's the boundary between "internal" world and "external" world?

The edges of the physical body ?
