"The goal of life is consciousness"

7 posts in this topic

I'm curious what Leo meant by that. Is it for the trivial reason "we are what we think"? In that case it's not our consciousness itself that's important but the thing we pay attention to. Or is it consciousness in the meaning of being in the moment because it's the only thing we have? Even then it's not so clear consciousness is the goal.

There is no goal unless you create one. Naturally, someone who has their goal as consciousness will tell you that consciousness is the goal.

What did the stage orange scientist call the stage blue fundamentalist for claiming YHWH intentionally caused Noah’s great flood?

@BipolarGrowth Did/does this insight come from the absolute perspective?

I guess you could say that. Relative perspectives are what have goals.

Even absolute have a goal - exploration of itself in the only way it's possible - exploration of it's own infinite creativity from inside out from all possible finite perspectives. There's no end to this game and it's fun forever.

This isn’t wrong in a sense, but this interpretation has a heavy human bias to it.
