Well not really. 

For example, if a girl gets raped for 5 hours, how is it going to help her if she goes deep and get her head fully dirty by remembering all the details that happened for the 5 hours?

I think what a person need to do is to go through the emotional pain and keep asking and feeling why. Accept and let go.
