I really enjoyed this book. This book perfectly details the sickness which lies in every politician; ambition, and inferiority. An ambitious ego which feels inferior will try to rule other egos. Egos do this by entering Politics.

No meditative person can become a Politician. Sure a Politician can become a meditative person, but then they will cease becoming a Politician.

Politics exists outside of Government. Let’s say students are competing to outperform each other and get accepted to the University, that’s politics! And it comes with all the sicknesses of Politics as well; ego, greed, ambition, and those who’ve deluded themselves to thinking they’re superior or inferior.

The purpose of the Priests is to rule our inner world, and the purpose of the Politician is to rule the outer world. Both are corrupting influences.

Don't rely too much on Osho. He was a bit of an idealist. Obviously he was Hindu. Hindus can be a little too spiritual to the detriment of reality. 

 

Osho and western values are at a direct clash. You can't create governments out of poetry and quotes.
