Can someone help me prove this?

I keep thinking another being knows that I exist and is in control of me and has access to my awareness.

How do I convince myself that my awareness is private and only I know about it.

You keep thinking that but is that thought true?

You question the thought. If that thought arises don't give it attention. Instead do something else.

I for example had thoughts about there being something wrong with me. The realization that it wasn't true made me question the thought and it was a major step out of depression.
