How to take things seriously?

8 posts in this topic

I've always seem that everythin is like a joke. I make and do things but I'm not get too serious about those.

Should we take life more seriously?

How to take your decisions and situatiosn more seriously?

How to take spirituallity more seriously?

How to stop chasing everything and focus on one thing in your free times. Does it worth it? How you prioritize between many things "to-do"?

Contemplate if you are living up to what you want to live up to; if you are living up to it great, if not do something about it. If you don't choose to do this or don't see anything worthwhile in aspiring to  life, eventually life is going to give you a wake-up call or you will start to experience different, or more intense emotions that will cause you to look within or change behavior.

@John Paul Thanks, I feel sometimes that is a lot of stuff that I want to do, but I'm not disciplined enough or not giving the necessary relevance to keep it doing it.

You need both, to be serious and detached from outcome at the same time. Be passionate with the pursuits you engage in, but not attached to what may come from them.

@Spook17 You can aspire to take more action and do more things that you love so you can be of service to other people in a way uniquely meaningful to you before you die... and you can laugh about it at the same time.

You have probably less than 5000 weeks to live. Why be so serious?

You can choose to be serious(or not).

It's not like the weather or something.

@Spook17  as long as you are truly joyful and satisfied with your life there's no need to be serious
