stage green "vulnerability" is a scam

20 posts in this topic

stage green vulnerability is a scam. Healing is a solo journey and the most powerful tool is psychedelics, crying, journaling to yourself in a safe and secure place, alone.

Just FYI I don't think you can use Leo's face as profile pic per guidelines...

What's not allowed:

Using images of Leo or the Actualized.org logo for your profile picture.

Didn't think you wanted to rack up warning points...or maybe you did? ?

And then what?

Are you going to just sit in your apartment, ordering from Amazon and being healed?

No, you will then have to go out and still be vulnerable with the people in your life. You will still have to learn how to have relationships. And those relationships will trigger you and be a catalyst for healing.

Fundamentally there is no healing “alone”. That you could even do such a thing implies a level of separation that does not exist.

Of course, there’s value to more traditional solo work. I don’t dismiss it. But there’s a lot of healthy values at stage green around vulnerability and relationships that should be integrated.

Stage green is such an easy punching bag stage. It seems so silly and unpractical.  But it’s critical right now, as we transition out of Orange, that people integrate it.

@aurum

as a society yes. but not for individuals trying to actualize in a human life time. green is so slow and rigid. there's a men's talking group i've been to but it's pathetic they help like two people reflect in like 2.5 hours.... good with the starfish metaphor but. And then if anyone actualizes from that group the group will have convinced them proactively that it is the group that is responsible for their success, not the individual...

@Preety_India the practice may be a beneficial introduction to introspection. but in the end it ends up being about maintaining green values in the group, and honoring the green group in a subtle blue-religious way

they will even poke your soft spots, try to manipulate you by showing you you are not healed yet/can't leave the group (obviously groups can be more or less culty) I'm saying that it could be easy to indefinitely plateau in green "healing" circles and be vulnerable forever while waiting for that breakthrough. you could just take a couple acid and do it now

@John Paul vulnerability is what helps a relationship grow.

ya i guess so. i guess i meant verbalizing and ruminating and reflecting on emotions. ya being emotional with people is how they grow. but it's not like you can cover your emotions, people emotionally intelligent can probably guess anyway right?

@John Paul hehe only if healing were that simple bud.

how is it not? you cry, you feel stronger, you set harder boundaries and are less attached to people. no need to cry with others who are too afriad to trip week after week, year after year,

Ime people with harder boundaries are still vulnerable inside and they sympathize when others react sensitively. Sensitive responses can help with supporting others who feel the same and to call out low consciousness people. I think to some extent one needs to dettach themselves, but you are ok if somebody offends you directly and you get mad. Rather than thinking about how not to subjugate yourself to some mean person, think about how you can behave better than them.

I was thinking today about how lower stages call green naive. And I think green is actually less stuck in illusion than them and understands the seriousness of issues that fly over stage Orange and below people's heads. And they become sensitive as a result of this more expanded awareness rather than the opposite. Lower stages are desensitized because they are naive and living in illusion.

@bejapuskas well also orange is literally the first stage to think for itself....so they think they are god but really they're a dumbo. red doesn't count cause red just wants to rape things. green ain't smart dude...it's one step above orange so it's like: woah woah woah...slow down everyone...NO SLOW DOWN...NO TOO FASSS NO U NEED SLOWW DOWN U SLOOOW NOO U FASSSSSS..NO U TOO FAAASSSS...
