Psychedelics and chakras

5 posts in this topic

Hi all, I've done 5meoDMT, shrooms and ayahuasca, and I'm presently reading about the different chakras.

I think psychedelics and chakras are closely related. When you take psychedelics, it's a matter of energies, perception, opennes, connection, etc...

And healthy chakras are all that. But I have more specific examples.

First, I had my spiritual awakening (even if my logical/scientific brain needed a lot of time to accept it) through shrooms and 5meo. It is not the experience that was mindblowing in itself. The shrooms I took were light, and I could remember just three distinct moments of Bufo. But for the first time in a long time I felt energies going through me, I felt the connection with nature, etc. Like energy could once again flow freely in me, I was receptive once again. And that's what chakras are about.

But the most striking event was some months ago. I took a heavy dose of shrooms and had the most incredible trip. At some point I was sitting cross-legged in the forest, and it was like I became PART of the mountain. I could feel a huge energy flow coming through my ass and up my whole body. It came from underground. It was like I was breathing in unison with the whole forest. Better, like my breath WAS the forest breath. An individual breath not different from that of a tree, but not alien. I was part of a harmonious orchestra.

And today I am reading about the first chakra, the root chakra, positioned between the balls and the anus, and that's supposedly the point where universal energy, life, Chi, whatever you wanna call it, enters our system/aura/body/spirit.

Exactly where I felt it.

The book was also listing visualization exercises like pretending you have roots that go underground etc.... And psychedelics can make you FEEL that sort of thing.

How cool is this ?

Does anybody have similar expériences ? Maybe someone that knows chakras better than me and that also did psychedelics.

I feel there's a lot of material here. It's also logical if we think there's ultimately only one Truth, everything must point towards the same thing in the end...

Anyways, would love to see your thoughts!

Check out the book self chi massage by mantak chia to expand beyond chakra into meridians and Dan tians.

chakras are only one vertical channel. The Chong Meridian. Certain chakras likely address the du and ren meridians as well.

Psychedelics have impacted chakra activity for me many times, and increasing chakra activity while sober has increased the effects of psychedelics for me in a rather permanent way.

What did the stage orange scientist call the stage blue fundamentalist for claiming YHWH intentionally caused Noah’s great flood?

Delugional.

@BipolarGrowth Yeah, they really opened up my channels and gave me my first real taste of QI which inspired me to begin Qigong.

I was once sitting under a tree on LSD and I was vibrating as one with its energy and could feel it's supporting and healing qualities as it was grounding and harmonizing my own energy. It has a very stable frequency and connects well to your root chakras. I then traced the tree back into the ground where its roots were, and then had an insight that has stayed with me until now and that's that just like trees have its roots, we do too and it is the whole earth below our feet. Its function is to support us and ground us out. But you have to unlock that energy so to speak, most are too contracted and elevated with their energy instead of letting it go into earth. You have to build that connection with the earth more in order to let it function as an energy absorber. If you have that flow of energy, naturally you feel less resistance and fear when relating with physical reality as you are supported and contained by the earth beneath you. Literally visualize the whole earth beneath you as you feel into its power and stability.
