Please donate to Ukrainian army

40 posts in this topic

Hi All,

I am Ukrainian and I would like to ask everyone who has the possibility to, please make a donation to give my country a good chance to defend themselves against a blood-thirsty invader. 20-50$ won’t save you or make you rich, but it could save someone’s life. Ukrainians are very strong and brave people. Please donate here:

https://armysos.com.ua/en/

(go to menu -> help the army)

Please don’t believe any stage red putin propaganda. Ukraine is a peaceful country who wants democracy and a chance for a better life for their people.

War economy has no place here.

It’s an emergency situation and I think many people in this community would like to help. Every bit of help matters so much right now.

How to know if it is legit? I'm also Ukrainian by the way

These funds were mentioned on my cities main Facebook page, many of them have been around since the war in Ukraine began in 2014. They are the biggest and most popular ones.

You might find people on Reddit who would donate. Check out r/Ukraine and r/Ukrainianconflict.

Please flee the country at once. You can always return afterwards.

How do we even know this is legitimate?

These are the biggest and most popular ones that exist to help Ukraine. You can look them up on the internet, you can check out the Instagram page I shared, they are all there too.

There are more sources on the r/Ukraine page here:

https://www.reddit.com/r/ukraine/comments/s6g5un/want_to_support_ukraine_heres_a_list_of_charities/

The ones that I picked out in my post looked least confusing to me in terms of how to make a payment.

I actually envy you for keeping your head and doing what you can. You are probably handling this better than I would. My heart is with you and your people. Please be safe and please come back to us when you get throught this and tell us you are.

If I could have a suggestion it would be to get a few local people on board with this, it would probably help them focus on something positive right now when they need it most, to feel like they are contributing spreading the message. If you have any friends and family who need it, anything might help.

Also if for some reason the power goes out, get a friend overseas to assist so it continues, someone you trust.

Still better than just sitting on your ass and doing nothing

Depends on where you are right now

So I don't blame you for not having a burning passion to contribute to the cause, but the least you could do is to not act very wise and smart when in reality you are not, and to not ask for this post to be put down...

I don't want this forum to become some kickstarter for armed conflict
It's not up to me, but to Leo and the Mods

Ukrainians are asking Russians to come out to protest the war.

The Patreon page for Ukrainian military has been stopped. Patreon explains is by stating they are not “collecting money for weaponry and items that could be used to harm other people”. They promised, however, that money collected thus far will be transferred to the military support foundation with no losses.

This is very sad news. But there are more ways to donate!
