Your experience with bhakti or a physical Guru

2 posts in this topic

Actualized.org seems to attract more intellectually oriented truth seekers but I am curious about those who follow bhakti as their meditation practice or have devoted themselves to a Guru.

What has your experience been like? What insights have you had? Why did you choose this way?

Note: This was meant to be posted into the Meditation section

the most hardcore meditation type is raja yoga.notice the term "raja" used. raja means king. raja yoga is very intense and is the most hardcore. there are some techniues in some yogic paths that can get kundalini to higher chakras in a matter of minutes.

bhakti yoga is watered down path. also there are some people who have a bhakti temparement . for them, bhakti yoga is suitable. me , i have mystical temparement so raja yoga is suitable. there are people like leo who have intellectual temperment . for them jnana yoga is best.
