Eye gazing during the trip - what's your insights?

7 posts in this topic

Have ever you tried looking into someone else eyes during the trip?

What's your insights?

We always stare  into each other eyes with my girlfriend after psychedelics.

We both feel the same. It's like staring into the mirror. There's no "I" who recognize that, but conciousness/universe recognizes itself.  And it's so obvious that we'are one. We are looking into our reflection. it's during end of trip.

But when the trip is hard, on the beginning, you might see face is changing and constantly evolving into different faces. The person you are looking at is everyone who ever lived.

What's your insights?

Yes :) Its amazing!
Sometimes I dont need any psychedelics to trip just by looking someone deep in the eyes. I completely loose all sense of self and become the "other" person.

Indeed. I sometimes feel like i've become exactly what i'm looking at. There's only that person. There's only what i see. Isn't it the case?  The sense that there's "I" looking at something is false, right?

Yeah, what you are and what you are looking at is the exact same thing. There is of course an "I" seeing it, but not in the way we would think.
Its all one action. Its like you are have two mirrors reflecting eachother, and everything inbetween the mirrors get Infinitely self-reflected in the space, sphere of these "mirrors". But the mirror is more like a diamond that holds all the "images" inside and outside of it, in all directions. Reflecting in every single way possible.

Same happens when looking at your own face in a mirror. This is a point when it becomes completely obvious that you are everyone that has, is, and will ever live. And the seeing it in another makes it completely obvious that you are hallucinating every seeming other person in the moment. And everything else that goes with it. There’s nothing really there. But at the same time everything is there. Consciousness solidifies it in an ordinary state, constructs it all so perfectly and consistently. That’s why it’s so hard to see through from an ordinary human state of consciousness. You see and realise you’ve never ever really moved anywhere, that you are infact the whole thing, morphing and changing that creates the seeming moving around moment to moment experience. And a lot lot more but that’s kind of a short way of putting it. I’m guessing though that you already know all this?

yeah, i feel like it's true and i experience it sometimes.   When does it happen for you? For me it's psychodelics, and after looong meditation, when my mind is clean. :)

What I described: During LSD. Also sometimes when I take meditation-walks out in nature. Taking deep breaths for long periods of time.
But the barriers between me and objects and "other" people. That happens when I am being in the moment and just holding eye contact.
