Leo's newest video "Is Solipsism True?"

Hello Leo Gura! I thought about doing this post for a long time and decided to actually make it. If you have got suicide messages or anything negative about this video I am sad to hear that, but NOW it is finally come time for me to tell my own opinion about this whole case. People get confuced about spirituality all the time and your content can't be somehow special that it wouldn't make that happen. Only reason you have 50k views on your videos and over 1 million followers is that you teach something for us. And if you would stop doing that, then what is the point you existing as "Leo"? 

Your biggest dream has been to have knowledge of everything and teach people on the way. If you stop doing that then you could just straight go to cave to do your psychedelics ALL ALONE. I am not to hate, but actually youtube, books and other media are full of basic level spirituality and self-help and your videos are just one thing more to this totality. Reason that I have followed the content is, because "Leo's" way of presenting things has always been crystal clear and very holistic. 

Contemplate which one is more dangerous.

A) People get confuced about solipsism, get sad and suicidal and end up understanding that thing wrongly.

B) People get confuced about solipsism, get sad and suicidal and end up understanding that thing rightly. (Actually if in this case solipsism would be the best thing ever, there could be decreased amout of sad people after integrating what you said)

Remember that if you leave this whole case too open people would get even more suspicious about your words and I guess that this is thing that no one would like neither you nor the people that will live their life in falsehood. Why won't you tell us what was the exact reason to delete that video and why wouldn't you just put that video to your blog so those who are more interested about your content could actually watch it. You have published many other high tier teaching and if in this video something horrible happened then know that this was predictable to happen sooner or later and it could have happened with any other video as well.

There is always chance to put high tier video behind paywall and that could also benefit actualized.org financial situation and you could make this everything more broad, have paid moderators, have paid content creators and source reseachers for your videos. The paywall would ensure that people who really are into that content would pay for it and therefore there would be less people who would take these things wrongly. Please concider this, becasue as you have said everyone needs to be open for feedback and you taking action in this would be pretty important for your followers that even you take good feedback. <3

Concider also that do you want to have people having false information on your forum harming other lives or more conscious forum. People will continue talking about solipsism on this forum unless you change rules that its not allowed to talk this topic, but that would make you actually look like a clown. You can only provide high tier teachings for your followers and you don't have any chance to know how it is taken today, tomorrow or after "Leo's" death.

Also there could maybe be rank system in forum that would block newbies to not see hidden content unless they are promoted. That would guarantee that your knowledge wouldn't cause harm, but also that your knowledge wouldn't drain into the well without any benefit.

Yeah, we need more advanced stuff for sure

The main problem seems, indeed, the ease of access of this content for everybody. Right now It's like Leo is teaching everyone right in the center of a busy marketplace and anybody can join and take part

When usually the deepest insights were shared in closed monasteries/advanced communities and things of that nature that notoriously had a lot of screening and filtration of its members as well as profound support systems inside those communities. Even if somebody lost their shit completely, I'm sure other people could easily help and correct the situation

I understand Leo's desire, though, to populize this kind of teachings for mainstream audience. It's a good noble pursuit for sure and we need more of that as well in the world

But ultimately, it's his channel and it's up to him to decide what direction to take and what to do with it. We can only share our opinions and that's about it

Impossible, the overwhelming majority of humans aren't ready for these kinds of teachings. Leo knows this, and that's part of why he removed the video if not the only reason I'm sure. You could speculate that there are other reasons, but that's the only thing concrete as of now.

Partly right, but when kid is ready to know that (s)he ain't gonna get next candy? Point is that no one is "ready" and only thing you can do is to be ready to not to be ready and that negates whole thing

Yeah you pretty much nailed it.

If you’ve been doing this work for a while, the “solipsism” aspect of this work likely doesn’t bother you much anymore. But that’s only IF you’ve already gone deep.

It can be quite a mindfuck in the beginning.

So even if we know that it’s all good, somebody else just hearing about it might freak out. So you gotta handle with care.

YT has been a blessing and a curse for non-duality. A blessing because finally these ideas are getting to more people than ever. And a curse because finally these ideas are getting to more people than ever.

It’s not a coincidence that the old mystery schools and occult teachers made you jump through major hoops before you got the good stuff. It seems secretive and elitist, but there’s also some wisdom there.

In the future, we may have to go back to there being stricter about people’s qualifications. The pendulum may have swung too far.

LoL that was the funniest thing I've watched in awhile... 

I feel like these things have already been said/hinted at in his other videos (I didn't get to watch this one just basing it off comments so far). 

Though I respect his decision(s) on it. It's really challenging being a public figure and considering so many of his audience has unresolved mental health issues.

Leo has decided that he doesn't want to release the episode on solipsism so please respect his descision. It's really annoying to read all these posts of people trying to convince him to do xyz.

Because the truth is that you need both intellectual understanding and experience. Without the another one you would/could deceive yourself. Without experience all that you have heard is just words that represents assumpitons of something else than what is. Without intellectual understanding all that you have experienced may be analyzed in the wrong way.
