Why it is always necessary to make the counterintuitive move?

10 posts in this topic

I have been contemplating this topic and I gained the following insights:

-Intial thinking about the situation is almost always short sighted so are initial actions

-Life is a revelation process of one's shortsightedness (unquestioned assumptions)

Any thoughts @Leo Gura and guys/girls?

That seems like it's based a lot on the person's level of development. An angry/depressed/fearful person would almost certainly make a poor initial choice while the happy/enlightened one will probably come up with smth good

Or it could be on the level a person understands a situation ?

It´s nonsense to always go against your intuition. Sometimes when you lack the necessary input to make a well informed decision the best thing is to go by what your intuition tells you. But it´s good to always question the presumptions you take for granted and hold as truth. It´s when people say things like: "Well, that is my truth". That's a red flag that that person is trying to defend an illogical position because it threatens their false sense of identity.

When we look at science. A lot of scientists create theories and hypothesis on pure intuition. And then they investigate, question and research if there is merit to that hypothesis. The 'soft' substance of intuition and the 'hard' substance of logical, empirical and rational reasoning should go hand in hand, not go against each other. When you look at the most brilliant minds in history like Tesla, Da Vinci and Einstein, you will see that they all share the same traits of strong imaginitive intuition paired with strong logic and reasoning. They did not go out of their way to discredit one over the other.

I think that we have to go against the grail of natural foolishness.

Getting good at being counterintuitive is the efficiency in diagnosing your selfishness and self bias in everyday decisions and perspective taking on reality. This is damn hard to do, but you become quite magical if you can do it.

Its like the universe is setting up to follow the entropy which leads to energy conservation and the only way to break that is by being more conscious and no listen to your animal mind programmed in your subconscious

If you want a different result that you're currently getting, you have to do things in new and opposite ways.

Success tends to be locked behind innovative ways of thinking. The obvious stuff has already been mined.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

Science is counterintuitive that is why it is hard. Without science you die from the cold and hunger
