Witchcraft under the microscope

High magic / ceremonial magic is too much work. For me it's the equivalent of going and sitting through a 3 hour church service, vs just praying at home for 5 minutes.

The best way to put it under the microscope is to try to for a few months. I already described how to do it in a previous post. You actually can't explain the mechanics without having enough practice with it [(concentration + intention) * visualization]. And if you explain it to an inexperienced person they can come up with billion perfectly rational reasons to disprove it. A nuanced post about witchcraft would take me about 30 - 50 pages.

No, not really. 

If you want to start with something easy like astral projection then read "The Phase" although it's a guide by someone who's a materialist and doesn't believe in the supernatural stuff.

If you want to get legit powers:

You have to develop massive degrees of concentration.

Daniel Ingram talked about it in a few videos. He's a good source. 

But still - practice is 99% of it.

And another good practice is the thing @Yarco said - start with something not hard to believe (like manifest an orange ball in your garden) and build your way up.

Well, then watch a Daniel Ingram interview, go to a concentration only retreat and practice setting intention & also practice visualization.

There is the receptive aspect (things like astral projection) and the "willing things into existence" aspect (concentration * visualization * intention).

If you do that (train it enough) you can manifest money, cars, physical appearance, opportunities, sex appeal, skills etc. And use it for whatever selfish thing you want.

Affirmations also work, but should be done either in a Jhãnic state or under the influence of drugs or during sex.

Edit: when I say "use it for whatever selfish thing you want" a general rule that should apply is "don't be a dick".

@Michal__ Is this just progeamming my subconscious so that I will sub consciously Do the right thing so that it will more likely will happen? For Example to Manifest an Orange in my garden I would sub consciously buy an Orange an then give it my girlfriend which then will throw it out of the Window in the garden during a fight which I sub consciously initiated. 

I thought whitchcraft would be different. Something more paranormal...

That's not what I'm saying, although It can seem like that at the beginning levels. The impossible stuff starts happening after lots of practice.

There are levels to it. 

If you're hyper rational it might take longer. But it should still be possible.

I don't necessarily agree with the elemental stuff found here and in much of wicca but it's still an interesting read, one possible system to consider. Skim through it and see if it resonates with you. If not, keep looking.

In my example I had something more paranormal in mind. Think of it more like... making a request to the universe. Then the universe sets a series of actions into motion, so some kid ends up throwing their ball into your yard and leaving it there. Or a dog finds a ball somewhere and drops it in your yard. The "how" can happen an infinite number of different ways, usually in ways you didn't foresee.

But like I think Michal__ is also alluding to, you want to start with stuff common enough that you could chalk it up to coincidence. Then gradually you can start doing weirder and more unlikely stuff.
