Weighted vest: -

Ankle weights: -

Incline: 3%

Strength Work:

5X5 70kg Deadlift

10X5 40kg Squat

300 Kettlebell swings (12kg)

I began to feel a tingling ache in my lower back, and my right knee. I spent some time today watching youtube videos on perfecting swings, squats, and deadlifts. Listening intensely to the sensation in my back as I moved through 10 sets of squats with reduced weight and a whole bunch of swings was a blessing in disguise. I could feel when I had great form and repeated the patterns over and over to lock them into memory. This was the main intention behind starting with such low weights (relative to my ability), and why I shall progress slowly. I also watched an interview of a Shaolin monk and appreciated the blend of prayer and agility coming through him.

1-hour RMT Rope Rolling, relearning all the following techniques:

I want to make an interval workout to roll through every now and then, or when I want to have a day off like today.

I got a pet giant squirrel on Runescape the other day. It's the agility pet which is a rare event in-game. Only about 20% of players who train agility to level 99 get one, so it's crazy that I got one at such a low level.

I have decided to name him Goggins, he follows me around the rooftop courses and is a pretty good conversationalist:

21km run in a thunderstorm to pick up the slack from the last couple of days.

It completely reset my mood and felt empowering because I felt I had plenty of energy and had zero pain or discomfort afterward.

The small incremental steps I have been taking are definitely having an effect on my overall fitness and strength, even if they're largely newbie gains and even if they're only coming in slowly.
